Eastman 12 Year Old Development Registration Form
Parents and Players
The Evaluation weekend for the Bantam Development Program will take place on Saturday February 16th & Sunday February 17th in St. Pierre, Manitoba. Players will be divided into three teams and will place twice on both Saturday & Sunday.
Games during the weekend will take place at the following times:
Saturday February 16th
10:00 am / 1:30 pm / 5:00 pm
Sunday February 17th
10:15 am / 2:15 pm / 5:15 pm

In order to ensure all players will be able to attend and will not have schedule conflicts with their respective teams, please notify your team manager ASAP to avoid potential conflicts. The Eastman Bantam Convenor will be notified of all players who will be attending this event. Please respond to confirm your attendance at this event.

Director's Cup Update
At the Fall Hockey Manitoba Director's Meeting Eastman has been granted permission to run 2-Director's Cup Teams for the 2012-13 season.
The Director's Cup will be an intense 5-week program that will culminate with the Director's Cup Tournament in Portage come April.
With almost 70 players participating in the regions 13-year-old development program and because of the recent changes to the structure of the Director's Cup Program the request was made to allow more of our regions players the opportunity to participate in a fabulous development opportunity.

2012-2013 EASTMAN BANTAM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM UPDATE
The Eastman Thirteen year old Bantam Development Program is set to hold their first Team Building Event on October 6th & 7th in Oakbank. The two day event will consist of development ice session for all players on Saturday October 6th . The following day, Sunday (October 7th), will see players taking part in three separate inter-squad games. Details on this event will be sent out to all players by October 1st to include a daily agenda & ice schedule.
The Program will continue with Development sessions begining on Monday October 15th for the Bantam Development - NORTH group in Garson, Manitoba from 7:15 - 8:30 pm . The Bantam Development SOUTH group will start the following Monday (October 22nd) in Steinbach (Ice times TBA). The program will continue each week on Monday evenings in Garson & Steinbach throughout the months of October, November & December. The second Team Building Event will take place on December 7th-9th (Location & times TBA). There will be two evaluation sessions for each group on December 10th (NORTH) and December 17th (SOUTH). The program will break for Christmas and resume for two final ice sessions in January for each group. This will complete the Development portion of the program.
Following the final Development ice sessions, forty players will be invited to attend the Directors Cup Evaluation weekend in early February (exact date TBA). Further evaluations will then occur throughout the balance of the season and a final roster of twenty-two players (17 skaters - 2 Goalies & 3 alternates) will be invited to attend the Directors Cup Program from March 25th - May 5th, 2013. The Program itself will begin with three weeks of practice sessions followed by a mini-tournament held on April 12th-14th in the Pembina Valley region. The program will continue with three additional weeks of practice sessions followed by a final tournament for all regions to be held on May 3rd - 5th in the Central Plains region.

EASTMAN SELECTS FEMALE BANTAM AAA TRYOUT INFORMATION

Eastman Minor Hockey invites you to take part in the Bantam AAA hockey program for the 2012/13 season.
This year the Eastman Region will form a Double Rostered Bantam AAA hockey team. This means 13 and 14 year old girls (born in 1998-99) will play on their regular team (boys or girls hockey) and will be eligible to participate in the Eastman Selects Bantam AAA program.
Monday nights have been set aside for development team practices. This team is booked to practice in Garson at 7:45.
The team will participate in all three (3) Hockey Manitoba Bantam AAA
Showcase Events. Showcase Events are scheduled as follows:
October 5-7, Location is Winnipeg (Hosted by Hockey Manitoba)
December 7-9, Location and host are TBA (we have applied to host).
February 15-18, Location is Brandon.
The Eastman Selects Bantam AAA team will take part in the Rural Bantam AAA Provincial Championship - March 15-17.
The Bantam tryout camps will start in September with dates and times TBA. Cost of the camp is $115.00 and will include a mandatory Impact Baseline Test. Registration fees are due by September 1, 2012. Fees received after September 1 will increase to $150.00 and must be paid before players go on the ice.
A final budget will be provided once more information is made available.
